Vasily's Christmas Special

Here is the half-hour program, "Vasily's Christmas Special," presented by the irreverent Vasily Strelnikov over Radio Moscow on December 22, 1991. This was Vasily's last program over R. Moscow, an occasion which he marked with the playing of such holiday favorites as "I Saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus" and "Christmas At Ground Zero" (plus a little Cheech & Chong). Okay, these were the days of glasnost and perestroika, but jeez . . . over Radio Moscow?! On the serious side, in the program Vasily bade farewell to many of his friends, including Jerry Berg and the BAD Guys of Boston (when they were travelling in the U.S., Vasily and Jonathan Marks had been guests at one of the Boston Area DXers meeting).
