Well, I don't know if it truly was "The World's Paradise," as shown on the back of the 1933 card from Transradio Columbia, but it certainly seems like it was a DXer's paradise. When you look back at the QSL's and hobby publications of years ago you can't help but be impressed with the large number of Cuban stations that were on SW.

Most carried the programs of their MW outlets, and many operated on channels that we would consider out of band today. The QSL's shown here are just a few of many in the CPRV holdings. Note the line through "La Voz del Radio Philco" on the COCX card, signifying a change in their ownership.

We'll have more examples of vintage Cuban veries in the future.
